What the work involves

Supporting patients with washing, dressing, eating and mobility, taking and recording clinical observations, helping with safe transfers, and escalating any change in a patient's condition to the nurse in charge.

Common requirements

• The right to work in the United Kingdom
• No prior healthcare experience for many posts, since training is provided
• Completion of the Care Certificate within twelve weeks of starting
• Physical stamina for long shifts, including nights and weekends
• An enhanced background check, arranged by the employer
