Job Description
A worker in Pakistan cannot apply to the US Government for an H-2B visa alone: the US employer files the petition with USCIS first. USCIS explains each step on its H-2B page.
Requirements
- The employer obtains labor certification, then petitions USCIS
- Only after approval do you apply for the visa at a US embassy or consulate
- Anyone asking you for a fee to "guarantee" a visa is not following the rules
