Construction — Trades, Site Engineering and Project Management

Saudi Employers & Licensed Agencies (Aggregated) Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam Full-time SAR 1,500 – 30,000 / Monthly

Job Description

International contractors, project management consultancies and licensed recruitment agencies hire foreign construction staff across Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and the Vision 2030 giga-project sites — general labourers, masons, steel fixers, welders, electricians and other skilled trades, plus site and civil engineers, quantity surveyors, HSE officers, planners and project managers.

Who is actually employing you

Check this before signing. On a Saudi site you may be directly employed by the contractor or consultancy delivering the project, or employed by a manpower-supply company that deploys you to that site under a labour-supply contract. Both are legal and both sit under the Saudi Labour Law — 48-hour week, overtime, end-of-service benefit, wages through the Wage Protection System, contract documented on Qiwa. The difference is who owes you the money and what happens when the project ends. Ask which company appears on your contract and on your Iqama, because that is your employer, not the famous name on the hoarding.

Requirements

  • Trade certificate for skilled roles, or an engineering or construction-management degree for professional roles
  • Documented experience — typically 2–5 years for trades, 5–10 for engineers, and 10–15 with GCC experience for senior management
  • Passport valid for at least one more year, plus police clearance and attested certificates
  • Medical fitness certificate from an approved GAMCA / Wafid centre before the visa is issued
  • HSE awareness; site-based roles usually need a recognised safety induction, and HSE officers a formal qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH
  • English for site communication; Arabic preferred for authority-facing and government-liaison roles
  • Willingness to work a multi-year contract, often on a remote project camp

What is on offer

  • Roughly SAR 1,500–2,500 a month for general labourers, usually with accommodation, meals and transport
  • Roughly SAR 2,500–5,000 a month for skilled trades such as electricians, welders, steel fixers and masons
  • Roughly SAR 6,000–15,000 a month for site and civil engineers, quantity surveyors and HSE officers, depending on experience
  • SAR 20,000–30,000 and above for construction and project managers with GCC delivery experience
  • Employer-sponsored work visa and Iqama, medical insurance, end-of-service benefit, and normally housing, transport and annual return flights

Before you pay anyone anything

Never pay for a visa or a job offer. Saudi rules place recruitment costs on the employer. Use only an agency licensed by your own government — the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment in Pakistan, an eMigrate-registered agent in India, a BMET-registered agency in Bangladesh, or a Department of Migrant Workers-licensed agency in the Philippines — and treat any "free visa" or "azad visa" offer as illegal, because working for anyone other than your registered sponsor exposes you to an absconding (huroob) report and deportation.

Note: pay, hours and contract terms are set by the individual employer or agency — not by JobGader. Listings on aggregator sites vary in quality; verify the employer and the contract before travelling.
