Job Description
CTA hires bus operators with no CDL or commercial experience. Applicants must be 21 with an acceptable driving record and get an Illinois CLP with knowledge, passenger and air brakes endorsements within 30 days of an offer, then receive 30 to 45 days of paid training. Starting pay is $28.15 an hour.
Requirements
- Top pay is $42.46 an hour after 45 months
- Hiring takes about two months from the test date
