WordPress Elementor Jobs

WordPress Elementor Jobs

We collected every live job title on five WordPress companies' boards, the official WordPress job board, and both major Pakistani boards. That is 52 international titles and roughly 1,700 Pakistani listings. The number titled "Elementor Developer" was zero.

That is not a technicality. It is the single most useful thing this page can tell you, because if you search for that phrase you will hide almost the entire market from yourself. Everything below was checked on 23 September 2026.

Elementor Is a Skill on the CV, Not a Job Title

Here is the count, in full, so you can see how one-sided it is.

Across the 52 live titles on Elementor's own careers board, Automattic, WP Engine, Fueled and Kinsta: titles containing "Elementor Developer" — zero. Titles containing the word "Elementor" at all — zero. Titles containing "WordPress" — nine.

On the Pakistani boards, the picture is the same. Rozee's live-jobs feed carries eight adverts with "WordPress" in the title, of which three are literally "WordPress Developer". It carries exactly one advert with "Elementor" in the title — "Elementor Designer & Developer" — and none called "Elementor Developer". Mustakbil carries three WordPress titles and zero Elementor titles across all 883 of its Pakistani listings.

Where Elementor does appear, it appears inside the job description as one option among several. These are real phrases from live adverts:

  • "Work with themes such as Elementor, Divi, or similar builders"
  • "Page Builder customization (Elementor / WPBakery / Divi / Beaver Builder)"
  • "Develop the website using WordPress, Elementor, or a similar WordPress page builder"
  • "experience with Elementor or Gutenberg"

Counting both boards together, there is one Elementor-titled advert against seven where it is merely a listed skill. And here is the detail that settles the argument: of the twelve web design and UI/UX adverts on Rozee — the Figma, Adobe XD, wireframing jobs — not one mentions Elementor at all. Those employers are hiring designers, not page-builder operators.

What to do instead: search "WordPress Developer", "Web Developer" and "Web Designer". Put Elementor in your skills section and in your portfolio descriptions, where it belongs.

What This Work Actually Pays in Pakistan

Most guides to this subject publish no pay figure at all, or quote an aggregator. These are figures published by the employers themselves, on their own adverts, on the date above.

The two boards behave very differently, and you should know which you are reading. Rozee publishes a salary on roughly a third of its adverts — twelve of the thirty-four we opened — and gives a single monthly number. Mustakbil publishes one on 96 per cent of its Pakistani listings, 845 out of 883, and gives a range.

From Rozee, the published monthly figures ran from PKR 15,000 to PKR 170,000, with a median of PKR 50,000:

  • PKR 170,000 — Elementor Designer & Developer, remote
  • PKR 100,000 — Web Design Lead Associate
  • PKR 65,000 — UI/UX Designer
  • PKR 50,000 — WordPress Developer, and separately a Shopify/WordPress product upload role
  • PKR 45,000 — Senior Web Developer, part-time
  • PKR 40,000 — WordPress Developer
  • PKR 20,000 — Junior Web Developer, paid internship
  • PKR 15,000 — WordPress Intern

From Mustakbil, where every relevant listing published a range: WordPress Intern 20,000 to 35,000; another WordPress Intern 10,000 to 15,000; Junior WordPress/PHP Developer and DevOps Trainee 25,000 to 55,000; Web Developer 40,000 to 100,000; Website Support Assistant 50,000 to 80,000; Senior Frontend Engineer 150,000 to 220,000.

Notice where the top figure sits. The three adverts titled plainly "WordPress Developer" pay 40,000, 50,000, and nothing disclosed. The PKR 170,000 belongs to the one advert that names Elementor in its title. That is a small sample and you should not build a career plan on it, but it points the same way as the senior frontend figure: the money is in being able to do more than assemble pages.

For an international benchmark, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics puts the median annual wage for web developers and digital designers at USD 99,520, splitting into USD 92,650 for web developers and USD 104,000 for web and digital interface designers, across 220,100 jobs, with employment projected to grow 5 per cent to 2035. That is the ceiling this skill reaches in a market you would have to move to.

"Remote" Usually Means a Country That Is Not Yours

This is the trap that wastes the most time, and it is worth being precise about. We checked the eligibility line on all 42 live roles across the five companies most guides recommend. Six were open to someone applying from Pakistan.

Elementor itself. One open role, worldwide: an AppSec Architect in Ramat Gan, Israel, listed as on-site. It is not a WordPress role, it is not remote, and it is not open to you. An article that tells you to apply at Elementor is sending you to a single on-site security vacancy.

Automattic — the company behind WordPress.com. Sixteen roles, all tagged "Remote", but only two confirmed worldwide. The best fit is "Experienced Software Engineer", whose posting says Automattic is "always looking for talented and experienced engineers worldwide". Two others are the opposite: the VIP Support Engineer and Customer Success Engineer roles state that candidates must be based in the United States and hold American citizenship. A "Remote" tag told you none of that.

WP Engine. Thirteen roles, none open to Pakistan. Its marketing says it embraces a virtual-first approach so you can work "from wherever you're most productive". Its own careers FAQ then lists where it actually hires: the United States, Poland, Ireland, the UK and Australia. Only three of the thirteen are engineering roles, and they are in Krakow and Australia.

10up no longer exists as an employer. Its WordPress practice has been absorbed into Fueled, and its careers page still says "all of our positions are remote and are open to candidates all around the globe" while listing no positions at all. The real Fueled board has eleven roles: four are genuinely open worldwide, including three senior engineering contracts. The other seven are locked to Latin America, the Americas, the US or EMEA — and Pakistan is South Asia, not EMEA.

Kinsta. One open role, a Senior Product Designer in Budapest. Not a WordPress role.

The Board Nobody Names, Which Is the Best One

Guides on this subject keep referring vaguely to "the official WordPress Jobs ecosystem" without saying what it is. It is jobs.wordpress.net, it has been recently redesigned, and it is working.

On the day we checked it showed 10 open positions across 3 categories, all posted within the previous three weeks, and described itself as 50 per cent remote friendly. It also runs a "People Open to Work" directory carrying 2,303 people.

Three things make it the most useful destination in this article:

  • Listings expire after 21 days. That is a hard rule, so nothing on it is stale — the opposite of the aggregators, where a closed job can sit indexed for a year.
  • Posting is free, and every listing is moderated by volunteers within 24 to 36 hours. Small agencies post here who cannot afford a job board.
  • It is the only one of these sources with roles genuinely open to Pakistan. The two WPMU DEV listings say it plainly: "Our talented, inspirational team is located globally, with team members working from every continent. Location is unimportant as long as you are available and enthusiastic." The shift is 4pm to midnight UTC.

But read even this board carefully, because the "Remote" tag lies here too. One listing indexed as Remote is a Senior WordPress Developer role that says "core hours overlap required" on Indian Standard Time and asks for candidates located in India only. Another, indexed as Remote, is open to US citizens and green card holders only.

Elementor Has Changed More Than Most Guides Realise

If you learned Elementor more than a year ago, some of what you know is now the legacy path. This matters in interviews.

Editor V4 is not a preview. It shipped. Elementor 4.0 was released on 31 March 2026, and Elementor's own FAQ states that atomic features "are stable, safe for production, and are already used in real production environments", and that "starting in April 2026, all new Elementor sites will run on version 4 by default." Existing sites are untouched: "Nothing breaks. Your current v3 workflows work seamlessly together with new atomic v4 workflows."

The current stable release is 4.3.0, published on 22 September 2026 — the day before we checked. It requires WordPress 6.8 and PHP 7.4. On WordPress.org the plugin reports 10 million or more active installations and a 4.5 out of 5 rating from 7,303 reviews. Elementor's own careers page says the product powers over 22 million websites and about 13 per cent of the web; the independent W3Techs survey puts it at 12.7 per cent of all websites, which is close enough to treat the claim as sound.

The vocabulary a 2026 interviewer will use: Atomic Elements, Components, Variables, Global Classes, Atomic Forms, the unified Style tab, and the single-DIV wrapper per element. Version 4.3.0 also introduced Elementor MCP, which lets AI tools build pages and work with your design system directly.

One thing to get right: sections and columns are not removed, but they are legacy. Flexbox Containers have been the default on all new sites since version 3.16, and Elementor has said containers "will replace the current section, column, and inner section functionality" while existing sites are unaffected. If you demonstrate a build using sections and columns, you are showing an interviewer that you stopped learning in 2023.

What to Learn, in the Order That Pays

Elementor on its own is a narrow skill and a crowded one. The adverts we read make the progression fairly clear.

  1. WordPress itself before the builder. Themes, child themes, the template hierarchy, plugins, users, media, and the admin. Most real problems are not Elementor problems — they are plugin conflicts, caching, or hosting.
  2. CSS properly, then Flexbox containers. The most common paid task is fixing a layout that breaks on a phone. That is a CSS diagnosis, not a settings change.
  3. Enough PHP and JavaScript to read an error. You do not need to be a backend engineer. You need to tell whether the fault is the theme, a plugin, custom code or the host.
  4. Performance and on-page SEO. Image sizes, fonts, scripts, caching, headings, internal links, alt text, canonicals. This is what separates a page assembler from someone an agency keeps.
  5. A portfolio of five different things, not five versions of the same landing page: a business site, a landing page, a blog layout, an e-commerce page, and a responsive rebuild. Say what you personally did on each.

If you want the adjacent routes, WordPress developer jobs in USA covers the higher end of this ladder, WordPress content upload jobs covers the entry point below it, and WordPress SEO assistant jobs covers the specialisation that pays best soonest.

How to Apply Without Wasting Weeks

  1. Search the right words. "WordPress Developer", "Web Developer", "Web Designer", "Front-End Developer". Not "Elementor Developer".
  2. Read the eligibility line before the salary. On every board in this article, "Remote" appeared on roles restricted to one country and on roles requiring citizenship. It is a work-arrangement tag, not a permission.
  3. Start at jobs.wordpress.net. Nothing there is older than 21 days, and it is where the genuinely global employers post.
  4. Check the time zone, not just the country. The global roles we found specify overlap windows — 4pm to midnight UTC on one, Indian Standard Time core hours on another. That decides whether the job fits your life.
  5. Lead with links, not adjectives. For this work a portfolio the employer can open and inspect outweighs any certificate.
  6. Verify a Rozee listing is alive. A Rozee page that loads is not necessarily an open job. We found one showing a 23 September deadline whose body read "This employer is no longer accepting CVs."

Frequently Asked Questions

Is "Elementor Developer" a real job title?

Essentially no. Across 52 live titles on Elementor's own board, Automattic, WP Engine, Fueled and Kinsta, and across roughly 1,700 Pakistani listings on Rozee and Mustakbil, not one was titled "Elementor Developer". The single Elementor-titled advert anywhere was "Elementor Designer & Developer" on Rozee. Search WordPress Developer, Web Developer and Web Designer instead.

How much do WordPress and Elementor jobs pay in Pakistan?

Published monthly figures on Rozee ran from PKR 15,000 for an internship to PKR 170,000, with a median of PKR 50,000. On Mustakbil, where 96 per cent of listings publish a range, relevant roles ran from PKR 10,000 to 15,000 for an intern up to PKR 150,000 to 220,000 for a senior frontend engineer. Only about a third of Rozee adverts publish any figure at all.

Is Elementor hiring?

Barely. Elementor the company had exactly one open position worldwide when we checked: an AppSec Architect based in Ramat Gan, Israel, listed as on-site. It is not a WordPress role and it is not remote. The work this article describes is at agencies and hosting companies, not at Elementor.

Can I get a remote WordPress job from Pakistan?

Yes, but far fewer than the boards suggest. Of 42 live roles across the five companies most guides recommend, six were open to an applicant in Pakistan. The reliable sources are the WPMU DEV listings on jobs.wordpress.net, which state that location is unimportant, and Fueled's four contract roles marked "Remote, Anywhere".

What is the official WordPress job board?

jobs.wordpress.net. It is alive and recently redesigned, showed 10 open positions when we checked, is free to post on, and is moderated by volunteers within 24 to 36 hours. Listings expire after 21 days, so nothing on it is stale.

Do I need to know coding for an Elementor job?

HTML and CSS, yes, in practice. Most paid Elementor work involves diagnosing a broken responsive layout or a plugin conflict, which is a CSS or debugging problem rather than a settings problem. Basic PHP and JavaScript let you tell whether a fault lies in the theme, a plugin, custom code or the host.

Is Elementor Editor V4 stable enough to learn?

Yes. Elementor 4.0 shipped on 31 March 2026, and Elementor states the atomic features are stable and safe for production and that all new sites have run on version 4 by default since April 2026. The current stable release is 4.3.0. Learn Atomic Elements, Components, Variables and Global Classes; sections and columns are legacy.

Why do remote WordPress jobs reject applicants from Pakistan?

Usually tax, payroll or right-to-work reasons rather than skill. WP Engine hires only in five named countries. Two Automattic roles require United States citizenship. One listing on the official WordPress board is restricted to India and another to US citizens and green card holders, while both are tagged Remote. Always read the eligibility sentence.
